The Institute of Particle Technology (iPAT) of the TU Braunschweig deals with modern aspects of particle technology and mechanical process engineering in research and teaching. The institute is subdivided into five Research Divisions covering different aspects of particle and powder technology. The Battery Process Engineering division at the iPAT deals with all aspects of electrochemical storage technologies, from basic research to process and manufacturing technology of the industrial electrode production.
Role in the project
The role of TUBS in SPINMATE is focused on the development and investigation of different scalable electrode production processes for the polymer-based Li-ion solid state batteries in laboratory and pilot scale by experimental methods as well as process modeling.
